Orthotics

A foot orthotic is an orthopedic appliance that fits inside a shoe and is used to support, align, prevent, or correct deformities and to improve function of movable parts of the body. Foot orthotics are used to alleviate pain that is due to improper foot function.
The orthotics at Headwaters Physiotherapy are made by a Certified Pedorthist.
Any adjustments required are included in the cost.

Sabrina’s outgoing nature and love for sport veered her into the fitness industry after high school, where it has become a life long passion to help people achieve health and fitness goals. Nirushan is a graduate from Queen’s University’s Physiotherapy program. His prior education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from York University. Through a decade of education, he can create a holistic picture of his clients and their conditions, which serve to guide the best treatment approach. Having worked as a physiotherapist in British Columbia and Ontario, Nirushan has worked with various clients including individuals with orthopaedic injuries, motor vehicle accidents, work injuries, athletic injuries, and post-operative (knees, hips, shoulders).
